2BR radio started its broadcast in 2000 from its Clayton-le-Moors studios primarily for East and Central Lancashire. Today 2BR is in the ownership of Global Media & Entertainment Ltd., and has 97.000 weekly listeners in the UK.
2BR works as a local radio station, so 2BR news brings Lancashire relevant news, weather, traffic and travel informations besides the national and international news. In the schedule, the weekdays’ daytime news sections include more local news, while the nighttime and the weekends have more national and international info supply.
2BR’s playlist lines up mainly the current popular hits but also older popular music take place from the last 50 years.
2BR’s weekdays are launched by the breakfast show “Tatum & Mike in the Morning” with Tatum Daniella and Mike Graveston between 5:30am and 9am.

You can select more 2BR streams below the player, and there you can also choose 2BR 70s, which is the "Home of the Seventies and More".

Ofcom approves 2BR’s upcoming change to Capital
Ofcom has completed an assessment of 2BR’s output saying its rebrand to Capital will not require any variations to its licences. Global bought the Lancashire station from UKRD in July last year, and has just announced it will be merged into Capital Manchester. The 2BR licences, which are for the Blackburn, Burley & Pendle and Preston, Chorley & Leyland areas of Lancashire, all broadcast as 2BR and share the same programming.More >>
