About Capital FM

Listen online to the internet radio of Capital FM live here on Radio 2 You!
Capital London is one of London's favorite radio stations with more than 1.8 million weekly listeners. Capital London is the leader station of Capital FM's eleven radio stations across the UK. The Capital radio station network has nearly 7.2 million weekly listeners, and so the second most listened to commercial radio station network in the UK. The Capital FM station network is in the ownership of Global Media & Entertainment Ltd.
Capital London primarily sharps its playlist for the growing up and the youthful adult generations, with the latest popular and contemporary hits keeps its listeners’ musical supply always updated. In the inexorable overflow of music, the schedule is flecked with short verbal gaps, in forms of obligatory news bulletins, advertisements, and talks, but nothing can truly question the dominance of music here. Perfectly immersive musical experience with excellent mixing of the present's best and hottest hits.
Capital's breakfast show works on every day of the week, except Sunday. On the other days, Roman Kemp leads the talk and beat-order with his adjutants Vick Hope and Sonny Jay, hosting UK's biggest celebrity guests.
UK's biggest chart show "The Vodafone Big Top 40" is produced by Capital FM's London studios, and aired on Sundays from 4pm to 7pm and broadcasted by the pop flagships of Global Media - Capital FM, and Heart across the whole UK.

You can tune in to Capital's local stations below the player, and Capital's sister station Capital XTRA is included as individual station here, on Radio2You.

Bauer gains approval to network breakfast shows
Ofcom has granted Bauer a number of Format changes to allow all of its stations to network all but three hours each weekday rather than the previous seven. UK commercial radio stations have been allowed to submit Format changes since the Localness Guidelines were amended last year, but Bauer has only just taken the steps required to allow this. Bauer can now share all programmes, with the exception of a three-hour show on weekdays (which doesn’t have to be breakfast), in the approved areas already suggested by Ofcom.More >>
