Heart London is the central broadcaster station of the 20 stations comprised Heart network. Heart London’s weekly audience is above 1.4 million, while the whole Heart radio station network has more than 8.5 million weekly listeners, and by this, the Heart FM radio station network is the most listened to commercial radio station network in the UK.
Heart Radio is in the ownership of Global Media & Entertainment Ltd., and the leader radio station network in the Heart Brand, which is UK's most popular radio brand in the commercial segment.
Its programme structure primarily targets the under 45 age group, and its schedule adjusts to their daily lives’ dynamics throughout the day. Heart is enthusiastic in keeping up the emotional bonds between the radio, and its listeners, and pursues a life-centered approach. In its playlist, Heart is passionate in the method of picking the best songs from the last 5 decades. Besides the current mainstream songs, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s’ best ones make the line up complete.
Heart London provides a breakfast show starting at 4am to 6am for the early birds, with Jenni Falconer, generally every day of the week, except Saturday. Just after that, Heart Breakfast show continues to turn up the feel good from 6am to 9am on weekdays with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden in "Heart Breakfast with Jamie & Amanda". Heart doesn't leave its listeners without morning wake up either on Saturdays, from 6am to 10am Lucy Horobin, and Jason King check-in by the bonus breakfast show.
On Sundays, "The Vodafone Big Top 40" is broadcasted from 4pm to 7pm which is the UK's biggest chart show, produced by Global's Capital FM studios in London and is broadcasted by the pop flagships of Global Media - Capital FM, and Heart across the whole UK.

Global’s Make Some Noise Day raises over £4m
The total from Global’s Make Some Noise Day stands at over four million pounds – at £4,097,325 raised in just one day. Staff from Global stations all over the UK took part in fundraising activities, from Jamie Theakston cycling from Edinburgh to London, Kate Garraway appearing in five West End Shows in one day, and Roman Kemp travelling 1,000 miles around the UK without money or use of his phone. Heart 90s to launch on national DAB digital radio
Global is transforming its Heart 90s playlist service into a full national radio station on DAB, with Kevin Hughes hosting breakfast. It’s the first of five new services all going national on DAB in the next week – as teased by Global over the last few days. Heart 90s will officially launch tomorrow at 6am – Thursday 29th August – with non-stop music from the 90s and joins Heart, Heart Dance and Heart 80s which all have live national breakfast shows from Leicester Square. Claire Lawson joins kmfm weekend schedule
Former Heart Kent weekend presenter Claire Lawson is joining kmfm to host two weekend shows. Claire was on Heart for over a decade but recently left due to the introduction of weekend and breakfast networking. He new show will air Saturday 3pm – 7pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. RAJAR Q2 2019: London and national brands round-up
Zoe Ball has lost more than three quarters of a million listeners to her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, according to the latest audience research from RAJAR. The show’s reach is down 781,000 quarter-on-quarter to 8.266m for the three months survey period up to the 23rd June 2019. In Q1/19 she had 9.047m listeners; in Q2/2018 Chris Evans reached 9.038m. Jennifer Reoch joins Heart Scotland for Drive

Ofcom throws out complaints about Heart’s format
Ofcom has decided not to investigate Heart staying within its format after a number of complaints were received. The seven complaints were assessed under the General Procedures for investigating breaches of broadcast licences at the regulator, but Ofcom decided not to pursue them. Bauer gains approval to network breakfast shows
Ofcom has granted Bauer a number of Format changes to allow all of its stations to network all but three hours each weekday rather than the previous seven. UK commercial radio stations have been allowed to submit Format changes since the Localness Guidelines were amended last year, but Bauer has only just taken the steps required to allow this. Bauer can now share all programmes, with the exception of a three-hour show on weekdays (which doesn’t have to be breakfast), in the approved areas already suggested by Ofcom.More >>

Mark Wright returns to weekends on Heart
Mark Wright is back in the UK and is returning to Global to host a weekend show on Heart from July 6th. He’ll be on-air across the network each Saturday afternoon from 4pm till 7pm.
