Union JACK radio launched in 2016, and is in the ownership of JACK Media Surrey Ltd. Union JACK has 184.000 weekly listeners in the UK by its only digital distribution.
Union JACK radio does not confute its name, so its mission is to air especially British originated content. Amongst these are the British music without time restriction, but mainly the classics of British pop are played, besides less present songs, moreover Union JACK offers chance for new British bands to get place in Union JACK’s playlist. Furthermore to be really British, the comedy is also an integral part of the daily schedule. Even here the only restriction is to be British, so older comedies, and new ones are also aired from the best of British humour.

Zoe Ball has lost another 364,000 listeners to her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show in the latest radio listening figures from RAJAR. It means more than a million weekly listeners have switched off since she took over the breakfast show from Chris Evans in January. Union JACK introduces live breakfast radio show with Adam English
Union JACK is launching a live breakfast show each weekday morning with Student Radio Awards winner Adam English. The station says Adam will be the youngest national breakfast show host in the UK, and The Full English will be the first live show on the station since it launched in 2016. RAJAR Q2 2019: London and national brands round-up
Zoe Ball has lost more than three quarters of a million listeners to her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, according to the latest audience research from RAJAR. The show’s reach is down 781,000 quarter-on-quarter to 8.266m for the three months survey period up to the 23rd June 2019. In Q1/19 she had 9.047m listeners; in Q2/2018 Chris Evans reached 9.038m. Union JACK goes live from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe
A live radio show will be broadcast each evening live from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by Union JACK this year. On the Mic will be broadcast every single night of the Fringe, from the 2nd to 26th August between 9pm and 10pm. Each show will feature four comedians who are performing at the Fringe, interviewed alongside highlights from their shows. RAJAR Q1 2019 – Zoe & Chris plus national and London radio round-up
Chris Evans and Virgin Radio both reached over a million listeners in the first quarter of 2019. The digital station’s audience has almost trebled compared with the last period of 2018 thanks to the arrival of Evans from Radio 2. RAJAR Q3 2018: London and national brands update
Nick Grimshaw left the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with half a million more listeners than a year ago – handing them to Greg James who took over the show halfway through the last quarter. The show now attracts 5.75m listeners (Mon – Fri) and is up 465,000 Year on Year. In London, Capital is back on top with almost 2,100,000 listeners according to Reach in the London commercial radio battle, as Kiss slips back under the 2m listener mark (1,958,000).
